Biography

I'm Tinashe Jera — a composer, music educator, and PhD candidate in Music Composition. I hold a Master of Music in Composition (Cum Laude) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and bring over a decade of experience in music education and creative mentorship.I’ve composed for choirs, orchestras, soloists, and film and have helped students from all levels develop their craft and prepare for music exams with confidence. Currently, I teach in the UK and work independently as a composer.Through The Composer’s Mentorship Studio, I’m passionate about equipping emerging composers to write boldly, think musically, and finish their best work.Below is a sample of the kinds of pieces I write — and what you can start creating too.
